6th Oriental Passion Festival

The Oriental Passion Festival, the largest Dance and Music Festival from the Middle East and India, returns more dynamic than ever to Athens from November 26 to 29, 2015.
36 hours of seminars in different types of oriental dance (modern and traditional), tribal fusion, Bollywood, Lectures, a Dance Competition and 4 separate performances make up this year's Oriental Passion Festival, an institution that every year connects the East with the West, presenting dances and music from Egypt to India.

In the now established multi-purpose hall Athenian, will host this year the most famous Egyptian dancer and actress, the legendary Dina, in one of her rare appearances in Europe. On Saturday 28/11/2015 the great Egyptian diva will take us to Cairo, where she grew up and developed artistically. The show will be accompanied by some of the Festival's renowned teachers and choreographers who come from countries such as Egypt, India, Hungary, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, England, Italy, Finland and Greece.
The show on Friday 27/11 is a tribute to the deep and multifaceted dance tradition of Egypt. The show is curated and choreographed by Mohamed Kazafy, one of the most recognized representatives of folk dances worldwide. With him the Kazafy Troupe Greece, dance group that travels with him for performances abroad.

The curtain of Oriental Passion Festival will open at 26/11 and will close at 29/11 with the participation of invited teachers, international guest artists and musicians, artists as well as dance groups from Greece and around the world.
