The Athens Concert Hall welcomes this year's December for the first time Cirque Éloize, with the dazzling performance ID, which will immediately be presented in Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
A spectacular spectacle with full integration of modern multimedia, full of boldness and modernity. A mixture of circus arts and modern urban street dances such as hip-hop and breakdance directed by Jeannot Painchaud.
The ID is an amazing performance that transports the audience to the streets, to the heart of the city, to a public space, where people meet to find their identity and renounce their anonymity, in an environment where their individuality is expressed through the stimulating music written by the composers. Jean-Phi Goncalves and Alex McMahon. OR scene comes alive with the inexhaustible energy of acrobats, dancers and breakdancers, with video projections on huge screens and a stunning finale on a unique trampoline wall that will make every spectator adore this unique show. A show full of freshness, youth and adrenaline, an artistic and athletic achievement at the same time, a magical tour of the liberating land of the senses.
With breathtaking acrobatics that break the laws of nature, with dizzying rhythms that inspire awe, with genuine humor, authentic inspiration and sensitivity, iD achieves absolute artistic harmony. It is truly an elegant and captivating blend of all the performing arts, theater, music, dance, street arts and circus, with the right doses of emotion and impressiveness, joy and laughter, sensitivity and tenderness, skill, imagination and extreme boldness. A glimmer of elegance, an apotheosis of power, an approach to perfection. An astonishing spectacle of unparalleled beauty and grace that stimulates all the senses of the viewer, recognizing his inalienable human right to the shocking experience and the happiness of his everyday life.
And the result could not be different, since iD is the creation of the multi-award winning Cirque Éloize, the group that gave a different meaning to the art of circus, the famous ensemble that has been traveling around the world since 1993, constituting, together with the Cirque du Soleil (today they now coexist as cooperating and related companies) the two world leaders in modern circus art but also in large family shows.
The Cirque Éloize For 20 years, it has enriched the emotions of millions of spectators, presenting great true works of art on stage, giving eloquent answers to age-old demands such as the combination of high aesthetics and quality with mass entertainment, of authentic creation and inspiration with phantasmagoria and unsurpassed spectacle. At the same time, it traces the ancient acrobatic techniques and traditions and combines them with avant-garde and modern forms. Thus, Cirque Éloize creates a new art, in which the main requirement is artistic excellence, an art that expresses its modern character in an innovative way, changing all the data in the field of entertainment.
The Cirque Éloize already counts 10 original productions and 4,000 performances in more than 440 cities and 40 countries. He has taken part in many important international festivals, while with his performances he has literally "seduced" Broadway and the West End. At the same time, attempting to give his work a substantial educational character, in 2004 he created a studio in the historic building of Dalhousie Station in the heart of the old city of Montreal, a space for artistic meetings, expression and dialogue for the circus community, inviting artists from all over the world to visit.
With the ID so, the Cirque Éloize does not simply present a magnificent performance. Thanks to the high artistic level, the original inspiration and the unbridled imagination of its participants, it promises the viewer a stage transcendence, an unprecedented experiential experience that will mark their aesthetics forever.
Cirque Eloize will also perform in Thessaloniki on 22, 23, 25 and 26/12.
