5th International Dance & Music Festival “EARTHDANCERS – Dancers of the World”

                                                                                                                                                                                                                The “EARTHDANCERS” International Festival more dynamic and impressive than ever, comes the summer of 2016 to flood the cultural venues and theaters where it will be hosted with music, sounds and colors from all over the world.

More than 300 dancers and musicians, bands from countries such as Brazil, Indonesia, Argentina, Serbia, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Hungary and other countries, will participate in the 5th event that aspires to make us forget the previous ones...!

After last year's forced postponement due to capital controls, the Festival, which is now an institution and relies exclusively on private initiative and mainly on the love of the people, is becoming a true "cry of culture".

To truly communicate with other peoples, it is not enough to speak their language. The arts are an “international language.” Every cultural celebration in which peoples participate makes them speak the common language of civilization. We live in times of significant global developments. This makes the organization of the Festival more urgent than ever.

The "Dancers of the world", is the vision of the organizers Panagiotis Bitakos, Dimitris Lianostathi and Giotas Konstantinou and they continue to exist thanks to their stubbornness, militancy and love for tradition.

It is a multicultural Festival where the participating countries present the dance and music as they “carry” them in their DNA. This exchange of traditions is extremely important, because it protects the cultural identity of each people and at the same time creates unbreakable cultural bonds between them.

Simply put, music and dance “break” borders and bring people closer. And right now we need it more than ever…!

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

In more detail, the Festival will open its doors on Wednesday, August 31 in Papagou Garden Theatre, the Friday 2 and Saturday 3 September will find itself in a particularly beloved place that has embraced it from the very beginning, the Euripides Theatre, Rematia, Chalandri and the Sunday, September 4 will be completed in Katrakion Theatre of Nicea.
