Thessaloniki Dance Festival : 9-10/04/2016

The largest festival of competitive dance and dance seminars in the Balkans, the Thessaloniki Dance Festival, takes place on the weekend of April 9-10, 2016 in Thessaloniki, at the "I. Vellidis" Conference Center and at pavilions 8 & 12 of the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center.

The Thessaloniki Dance Festival (TDF) is attended by 1,500 athletes from 33 countries (Greece, Russia, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Romania, FYROM, Ukraine, Spain, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Cyprus, etc.).

During it, six dance competitions will be held simultaneously in the following genres: Latin, Hip Hop, Salsa, Tango Argentino, Oriental & Contemporary –Jazz.

The festival also includes dance seminars by top dancers and teachers and two big parties. The event will conclude with the "Best of the Best Show 2016" competition of the winning teams.

Its goal is to disseminate the artistic, but mainly the athletic dimension of dance.

The TDF is co-organized by TIF-Helexpo and the All Star Dance school, while it is under the auspices of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and is licensed by the Hellenic Dance Federation of Greece and the World Dance Organization.
